pigs.

Hello my GREAT family!!
ps. Trent, welcome to the family. (:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  We celebrated here with a little bit of Martinellis.  We did get invited to go and watch some fireworks.  It was pretty funny actually, we were out tracting and we saw this couple smoking on there porch.  It was a lot awkward, but we are great at that, so we went up and started talking to them.  Turns out that he really only wanted to prove us wrong and talk politics, so we politely tried to get away.  He was super nice though!  And invited us to come back at midnight to watch the "bombs!"  Then he called us sissies when we told him that we would be sleeping at midnight. (: haha, so we chose to be obedient, to stay home, and drink Martinellis!  It turns out that at 11:55 pm it is really hard to open a bottle...we struggled a lot... But we finally got it open!  Both took a swig, and went straight back to bed!  (:
It has been a great week!  We had an awesome lesson on Saturday!   A member had given us this referral a long time ago, but she wouldn't give us the address because she was nervous for us to go over.  She works with this women and has given her a Book of Mormon many years ago and nothing came from it.  We finally got her address last week!  We went and saw her and everything went great!  She invited us to come back this week on Saturday.  So we invited the member to come with us who gave us the referral.  She was so nervous to go... She just felt like it would be awkward, and her friend hadn't even mentioned once at work all week that we had come over.   But we talked the member into going with us.  When she picked us up she told us that it was weird because she didn't feel nervous at all anymore, she just said that she couldn't really explain how she felt.  WE HAD A GREAT LESSON!  It was so good that the member was there because they have a great friendship!  And the investigator opened up to us so much more because her friend was there.  She explained to us that she was searching for truth, and she asked us to give her an assignment to read, and SHE TOOK NOTES! It was so valuable to have the member there to testify of simple truths.  Afterwards, she told us that it was weird because it wasn't awkward at all!  She said that she wasn't nervous, and everything just flowed.
That is how it works.  It is so true that the gospel flows better among friends.  There is already a friendship there, and a trust that is a strong foundation for the truths of the gospel to be built upon.
The gospel is true!  Share it with your friends.  I promise you that it is easier that it looks.  It isn't as awkward as it sounds.  And you will have an awesome experience doing it.
I am loving the 100 day BoM read!  It is definitely a challenge for me. It is more reading in a day than I am used to, but it is really really good!  I love the questions each that that it has.  I am learning a lot!  I loved todays reading, when it talked about the Americas and how this continent has been prepared for a LONG time for the gospel.
What a wonderful week.  The church is true.
I bore my testimony in church yesterday because our investigator was jabbing me in the side with her fan. AHAHAHAHAH! She was giving me the death glare the whole time until I finally went up. (:  Funny lady.
Cool story: This girl still loves pigs.  Lots of people here have pet pigs.  It is awesome.  I have convinced all of the missionaries in Anniston that the best pet is a pig!  Enjoy the pictures.
